The Style Child: Dressing for Comfort Without Sacrificing Style

There are so many factors to consider when getting dressed—weather, occasion, mood—but during the infamously stressful junior year of high school, I find myself most concerned with comfort. When I roll out of bed at 6:45am, tired from a late-night study session, the only clothes that seem appealing are those made with forgiving fabrics and lined with fleece. Instead of a sloppy PJ ensemble, I opt for a pair of slouchy yet sophisticated Alexander Wang sweats and a collegiate-looking pullover. Throw in a pair of chucks, and it’s almost too cool for school.

  1. not everyone had alexander wang sweats. stop being ridiculous. you dont have to be rich to be fashionable.

  2. those sweats are dumpy. i cant believe you are really promoting this as style.
