Photo Gallery: SHS Carnival
The annual carnival at Scarsdale High School took place on Friday, April 20th and Saturday, April 21st. The event included numerous rides, student-run booths, and prize-winning games. Maroon was there to capture all the fun moments. (Photos Becky Schwartz).

loved the carnival! Particularly enjoyed the dunk the teacher dunktank! Ms. Blood was hilarious! She got dunked at least 20 times and heckled the throwers! she did it all w a smile as she was dunked1 we need more teachers like that1 i really had fun dunking her! Maybe she d be up for another stint in the dunktank for another fundraiser!

Kudos to ms. Blood(Physics) for being dunked in the dunktank!we all had a blast dunking her over and over!Her humiliation was our entertainment! she taunted and heckled us but took all her dunkings with a smile!she was freezing but never complained! we saw her dunked for over an hour! she even let kids that missed press the lever to dunk her! anyway to get her to be dunked for another good cause?! thanks Ms. Blood you were great but you deserved all the dunkings you got! LESS HOMEWORK PS any pixs of her being dunked

In reply to your comment, i couldnt agree more! The physics teacher in the dunktank(Ms Blood) was great! My girlfriend and I each dunked her 2x ! We were passing bye and she dared us to dunk her! We did! Despite getting dunked she continued to ask us to dunk her! What a great sport! she drew large crowds and raised alot of money! Thanks

I love you ms Blood but you needed to be dunked for all those tricky tests! Can we dunk you in a dunktank at the end of the year if we get a certain grade! Also can The Maroon write about Ms. Blood being dunked(Great Sttory and might get more teachers next year) and challenge her to do it again(Be Dunked) to raise money for a good cause like The Maroon ! Come on editors ASK HER!!!

even the parents were dunking her! and they were hysterical watching ms blood get dunked! Too tough on their kids in the classroom!LOL I even heard one mom say oh thats her! walked up bought 3 throws and dunked her! She said take that! what a hoot!!!!!!

Let s start a petition to dunk Ms. Blood at the end of the year! we could get pledges like in a walkathon and collect after she s dunked like at a school assembly!Anyone interested!Maybe Mr. ginsberg can help get it going!

when i heard the annoncement over the intercom ” Mrs. Blood bio teacher to be dunked in the dunktank in 5 minutes” i thought it was too good to be true! I ran over to the dunktank and there she was. holding a beach towel dressed in a tshirt flip flops and shorts and looking nervously at the dunktank I knew i was in luck! Give me a poor grade did you! I yelled at her and said i hope you like cold water! She kicked off her flip flops climbed the ladder and assumed her position on the dunk tank hot seat! The next 45 minutes were great revenge!Being a girl i let the guys dunk her but what laughs ha ha Ms blood But thanks you were a good sport! i have to admit!I would love to get involved with the Maroon project to dunk her again at an assembly! Where do i sign up?

I dont want points off my next test!but like the last post i loved seeing her dunked and I dunked her myself she s a great teacher and nice but we made her beg not to be dunked then dunked her anyway alot of fun and LOL i think the idea of putting her in a dunktank to raise dough for Maroon is great We can collect pledges dunk her at an assembly in front of the whole school collect the pledge $ and everyone wins! honestly ms blood is cool and she d do it Let s ask her!How do we arrange this1 Help? respond people1

dunking my son s biology teacher Ms. Blood was very satisfying. she s a really good teache but my son says she is tough on the students so she had to be dunked!several other parents and i laughed at her and yelled for her to get back up on her perch.she obeyed just to have my husband hit the bullseye and dunk her again.i give her credit for getting dunked. thanks for the laughs!we caught the whole thing on video!ha ha ha lol

I see above Ms. Blood may be back for another stint in this year’s dunktank. If so, i ll come home from school just to see that!!!LOL She deserves it!!!!!!!!
